Owning and carrying guns is not for overthrowing the government. That’s absurd. It is however very profitable to convince people that’s the case if you happen to be selling guns.

Seems to be blue cities in blue states. They just happen to have assault weapon bans. Hard to believe the likelihood of armed resistance would be more likely in Dallas versus Portland just because of a ban on a particular type of weapon. Perhaps you are aware but a large portion of weapons recovered in Chicago are illegally obtained from nearby states, in particular, Indiana.
