Philadelphia police have broad authority to revoke gun licenses, including for failing to properly secure their weapons, associating with people convicted of felonies, or — in the group’s case — for “good cause,” per city correspondence obtained by Axios.
I’m sure if they rebranded as armed pro trump insurrectionists they’d get their gun permits back. And probably get some funding. Might also need to wear whiteface for the photos.
I’m not saying they need to actually be trump-panthers, just do the paperwork that way. Trumpers are stupid and bad at their jobs, so might as well use that.
“good cause” my fuckin ass
Surely the NRA is already running in lawyered up to help this group, right?
I would expect that several guns groups are. Unless this is a biased article and there is something we are not told - this is all too common.
Note that gun organizations tend to support black people owning guns.

When it suits them
Which organizations are against minority people owning guns?
The Philadelphia police
The NRA about 80% of the time
The good old party
Reagan invented modern gun control because he was scared of the armed black men who knew there rights and founded the original Black Panthers.
If they can just decide to do this, you never had the right to begin with. Comply at your peril.
