Rubio’s speech on Cuba was pretty twisted. It sounded like an abuser talking to his wife after leaving her bruised in a heap on the floor.

I didn’t want to do this, but you forced my hand…

I doubt there will be an invasion, smash, maybe smash and grab, yes. Invasion no. They aren’t good at invading and holding countries, just blowing stuff up.

This has been coming since Venezuela. They are speed running WW3 because they know Trump won’t live forever, and once he’s gone, they won’t have a puppet quite as malleable.

The guy they want is 94 years old, I doubt they could pull off what they did in Venezuela, in addition to the fact that you cannot argue with 90. If they have their wits, they will win, and they often don’t give any fucks about dying.

Best odds, Hegseth creates a martyr.

There’s no WWIII coming. For all of the talk of a multipolar world, Trump has proven it’s not here yet. The US’s economic stranglehold may be slipping but its military dominance is still unchallenged.

The polls don’t lie. Y’all queda isn’t interested in wet weimer Vance, marco pollo rubio, Hits-mom-like-dad-did-Hegseth, and the only explanation for RFKKK’s voice and behavior is that he sucks himself off every night that Bessent doesn’t get there first. (What else would a gay man do at night?)

In October 2008, the Cuban government announced that its likely oil reserves were more than double that which was previously believed, and its total reserves were probably 20 billion barrels, mostly in the offshore. If the estimates are accurate, then Cuba would have one of the top 20 reserves in the world.[5]

By 2010 an active leasing program for blocks of the ocean floor north and west of Cuba was underway. No U.S. companies participated due to the United States embargo against Cuba. Private companies and state-owned firms, from Brazil, India, Norway, Russia, Spain, Venezuela, Vietnam took leases. Despite the areas leased being close to tourist areas in Florida and Cuba, Cuba does not have the equipment or expertise to handle a major oil spill.

Tl;dr - lots of oil and us companies can’t operate on it because of the embargo so obviously the embargo can’t stay.
