I used to live in Morocco. Didn’t hear of dog killing being a problem. People would feed them from my recollection.
Yeah; Dogs are unclean according to islam, but i heavily doubt they’d kill dogs because of that lol. Dogs are looked down upon, but are still fed and taken care of (not inside homes) mostly in farms/streets.
I feel like most of the times we have things like this what actually happened is a small group of individuals did it in a small community and it hit internetional news once so now a bunch of people think that’s all they do in that country/region.

It’s a new pre 2030 World Cup culling. Seems like they’re in the middle of carrying out quite a large one. We’re talking millions of dogs.
