      Or even just generally. I think it’s only 7,000 miles (11,250 km), and they’re about USD$500 each.

        Yeah, I was kidding because of the fires, but you are correct. Teslas, when driven hard, eat through tires. All that torque needs grip, and so the tires are a grippy compound which typically equates to higher wear. A few friends bought them (before Elon showed his true colours), when they first got them and did the acceleration run with each eager passenger the tires were bald in no time.
