If I had a nickel for every time a post on this community was about fucking up entry/exit signs, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

This community is inspired by the concept of text that conveys opposite messages when read in a different manner. While it shares similarities with !dontdeadopeninside@lemmy.ohaa.xyz and !nosafetysmokingfirst@sh.itjust.works in that all of these play with the idea of misreading text, YDMGU specifically focuses on phrases that can be read in both directions, with each interpretation being valid and opposites of each other.
