That’s funny - I thought I didn’t get it because I’m not German…
The McDonalds breakfast meal in North America is called egg Mcmuffin which is an egg with a muffin. Mc sounds similar to mit, so it’s a play on the two similar sounds.
Egg Mett Muffin sounds even more similar and it would create a new breakfast dish, some might call it disgusting.
That would be the wurst.
