I’m aware of the issues with imported products vs locally produced products and Chinas politics in general.

However, let’s assume there would be a good reason to buy a Chinese product. How can you distinguish between all those almost identical looking unspeakable brands on Amazon from “proper” Chinese brands with a good reputation and track record in China?

What are the Chinese “equivalents” to European and US brands e.g. in household appliances, tools, IT, food etc?

    “Real” brands will usually have a proper website where you can learn about their products, whereas those Amazon pseudo-brands generally don’t, or only have a generic template. For example, something like 8bitdo or Fiio are what I’d consider proper Chinese brands.

        On the note of Fiio, linsoul is pretty good. I’d say China has all the good IEM and music players nowadays.
