I just had to repost that question, as I’ve gotten plenty of comments saying “what does that have anything to do with socialism or other forms therein?”.

That said, for a start, I think AI should be regulated… heavily.

    1. I get your point, there are open-source AI
    2. AI is being used for commercial purposes (read: for profit), and is being used in ads, YouTube videos and such. AI slop is running rampant to a point where kids who watched AI slop had trouble knowing if something’s AI-generated or not. I think AI should be regulated to a point where it can only be used for noncommercial purposes (such as recreation and assistance), NOT to mention kids should be taught knowing if something is AI slop. As for the deep web, Seriously!

Oh understood you mean more about the government regulating the hosting and distributing platforms to forbid AI content.

I think it’s possible but AI companies have a lot of money they can easily bribe the hell out of all politicians including left-wing ones, they could also invest their resources, technology and money into other industries which could lead to more money.

You can also make them add some kind of mandatory labelling when something is made using IA, but I believe that can even make the problem worse.

I think it is possible but hard to achive WO mention as I previously said the criminals won’t stop using it in the shadows.

        1. Well the government might do prevent AI companies from lobbying politicians from both sides of the aisle.
        2. As for mandatory labeling of AI-generated products - something like that. A little bit like the “quack Miranda warning” you see in supplement bottles and such.
