Those are planes of friendship flying around Taiwan I take it?

China is so loving and caring that the Taiwanese people are clearly being irrational with all the military posturing China does to them every year.

You’re right in that military force is anti-social, and it’s exactly why so many of Chinas neighbours are weary of it as it constantly flexes its military might and expands into islands belonging to other nations.

And “westoid”? Way to co-opt 4chan language. Tankies are so riddled with propaganda that they start resembling MAGA.

China has dropped precisely ZERO bombs in conflicts since 1989. So when you say China is flexing it’s military might, you’re going to have to qualify that. It’s primarily the porcupine strategy that everyone is so keen to attribute to Taiwan. Pound for pound, China is the least aggressive military on the planet.

Consider what “flexing military might” literally looks like:

      • kidnapping a head of state with hundreds of special forces killing dozens of people and bombing a medical facility in an unprovoked war crime of aggression and war crime against peace
      • launching an unprovoked bombing campaign against a peaceful energy program in a country on the other side of the world in an unprovoked war crime of aggression and war crime against peace
      • launching an unprovoked bombing campaign against a sovereign nation and aiming a missile at a children’s school, killing nearly all of them, and killing not merely a head of state but they’re child, child’s spouse, and grandchild, and 3 layers deep of leadership reporting to that head of state, and destroying civilian fresh water infrastructure, and civilian energy infrastructure, commiting more war crimes in a single week than we can even count right now

That’s what flexing military might means. What China is doing is called “deterrence” and they use demonstrations of readiness to create that deterrence.

For 50 years the CPC has said that will not invade Taiwan to force reunification because it is counter to their goals. They have only one condition for invading Taiwan and that’s when the threat to mainland security becomea imminent. Right now there are US soldiers stationed 4 miles off the coast of the mainland on islands that are part of Taiwan province. The US would consider that an imminent threat if the situation were reversed. China does not, because they acknowledge the US’s desire to provoke them into bloodshed, and the CPC has shown restraint for decades. They will invade if the US deploys capabilities to the province that make the threat to the mainland imminent.

Do you think the US, NATO, and Ukraine military exercises on the border with Russia were “flexing military might” that showed they were planning to invade Russia? Do you think that those military drills were loving and caring friendship demonstrations directed towards Russia? No?

Then I submit that one of us is riddled with propaganda and cannot navigate the real world, and I assure it isn’t me.

Flexing military might is not solely limited to dropping bombs.

If I hold a gun to your head and say “I haven’t pulled the trigger since 1989” does that reassure you?

It depends, am I in a room with multiple psychopaths who have been continuously firing full machine guns into schools, refugee camps, and hospitals for 75 years?

Yes, you saying you haven’t pulled the trigger since 1989 actually tells me a lot about you and if you said “come with me if you want to live” I would follow you

And is Taiwan or the Phillipines one of those people who have been firing the guns?

If an innocent person tells you to stop pointing a gun at their head and to stop saying you want to take their home away from them, maybe they would be more likely to not take issue with you if you actually didn’t point a gun to their head, say you want to take their home, but hadn’t pulled the trigger in a while.

Taiwan is internationally recognized as a province of China. And the US has been putting their psychopathic military into the province. Like I said, there are US soldiers stationed 4 miles off the coast the mainland. Are you aware of what American soldiers do in Okinawa during peacetime?

Taiwan is totally innocent, other than the 40 years of white terror, but the CPC has no interest in harming Taiwan. It’s immediate interest is in ensuring that the psychotic white supremacist mass murderers don’t continue to build up their operations where they can start firing into mainland civilian populations. Their long-term objective is to finish the healing process between and among Chinese people that was interrupted by the American empire when it decided to make Taiwan province a protectorate because China dared to attempt to stop the Americans from genociding half of Korea.

Again. This is Western brain damage. You literally cannot conceive of a country and a military that doesn’t operate the same way as the Western militaries do. You project all of your guilty conscience onto others and assume that everyone is equally bad and that’s why it’s OK for the US to try to stop China, because if they’re both bad then who ever fires the first shot is now the evilest one. It’s delusion.

China is preparing for the constantly threatened military action by the US. Pete Hegseth did a tour of Southeast Asia where he said everyone needs to prepare for war with China. Under his tenure, the US has launched multiple unprovoked attacks and documented and celebrated at least 60 war crimes against civilians. But then you look back at the last 50 years of US foreign policy and what you see is an unbroken line of war crimes, unprovoked attacks, devastation, mass murder, destruction of civilian infrastructure, and celebration of the bloodshed.

Yes, China is actually different, in real measurable publicly demonstrable ways.

The reason your childish metaphor breaks down is because a whole singular person cannot be occupied by other people. Taiwan is not a person with a head. China is not holding a gun to the heads of leaders. The large area of territory that is the Taiwan province is currently occupied by members of that psychotic military to fire machines guns into refugee camps and bomb hospitals, neonatal units, water supplies, and children’s schools. Yes, The Philippines also hosts those same soldiers and their weapons. Yes, both Taiwan and The Phillipines have large US military bases on them with the supplies required to bomb hospitals, schools, and water supplies. Yes, they host the psychopaths that fire machine guns into refugee camps. Yes, they host the spies who traffick billions worth of heroin across the world.

Yes. There are real threats in the region. All of them are led by the US. Some of them are Australian, or Japanese, or British, but all of them are led and organized by the US. The US took over the Korean colony from Japan. It took over the Vietnamese colony from France. It took over The Philippines colony from Spain. And it commited genocide, mass murder, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and unspeakable atrocities in every single location. And not only did it not apologize, it openly states that it’ll do it again, and then it does it again Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Nigeria, Venezuela, Cuba. And don’t forget that Afghanistan shares a border with China, and that Iran is very geographically close to China.

The threats are real and your attempt to downplay them while China has literally not engaged in war for 35 years, and not only are you pretending everyone has equal claim but that actually China is in the wrong for being concerned about the US military presence on its border is just so far beyond the pale that I repeat again, one of us riddled with propaganda, and it’s not me.
