    the internal rape problem is aan external rape problem, too. i can’t speak to okinawa/japan or japanese racists but the stories i’ve heard from troops deployed to the phillipines make my skin crawl. there is far too much of the military apparatus who think they’re justified to do whatever they can get away with by their need to keep america safe.

    meanwhile, they’ve been brainwashed. they don’t keep america safe, they maintain extraction economies. and the culture of rape in the american military only engenders hatred of america in those extraction economies.

    the problem isn’t specific to any base or to any internal or external statistic. the problem is a culture of not viewing women as humans within the military

        wonder what it could be… could it be an officer corps who actively covers up anything and everything?

        and “hang out” is a strong word. they were men who had power over me in college because they were athletic coaches and directors
