      I don’t know which countries you’d call a proxy in this context, but the BRICS problems arise from within. This has nothing to do with the US or anyone else. This was never a bloc of countries based on mutual trust imo, and with the governments in the major BRICS countries it will never be.

        Just because there is a common “enemy” doesn’t mean we can reach consensus. Sure BRICS hates being under the US et. al. thumb, doesn’t mean they align elsewhere

        The current issues in brics come from the fact that saudi arabia and the UAE harbor US military bases that were offensively used against Iran. The war which is currently really backfiring on those states would never have been a thing without the US.
