No, I’m trying to dispel the propaganda that anarchism results in chaos and disorder, “definitions” that were tacked on to discredit the movement.

Words take on different meanings than their initial intentions sometimes. That’s language for you. Nothing to “dispel”.

You’ve completely missed my point, those “definitions” are themselves propaganda. The etymology of the word has nothing to do with disorder, governments in the late 19th and early 20th centuries spread fear of anarchism by conflating it’s meaning, to discredit the movement and scare away possible new members by associating them with violence and chaos. It’s been very effective, judging by this conversation, but it’s founded on lies.

I understand all that, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s too late, and I’m using a now-established meaning of the word. I’m sorry this isn’t something you want.

                  Objectively

I’m not noticing any personal, direct consequences of using the word anarchy in a way which wasn’t intended when it was first coined. 😊👍 Works just fine and I’m making myself understood.

Also with the attitude you have right now, I’m not your “buddy”.
