    Screwworm could make a presence in the summer, but they wouldn’t do well in Canadian winters.

    I agree we should take this seriously, and agree with all your other points such as not trusting inspections. However, “waaay worse than mad cow” is unhelpful sensationalization of the situation.

      Perhaps you’re right. I mean it should be easier to detect screwworm than a prion. I was thinking of if people got screwworms from the cattle. Eyych.
