Yet I see shit all the time where things like someones thousand dollar bike is stolen and they are just told by police to eat dirt because theres nothing they can do.
For anyone who finds themselves in that situation, here’s the cheat code:
No: “Hey, police? My bike was stolen and I know exactly who took it and where it is. Can you get it back for me?”
Yes: “Hey, police? My bike was stolen and I’m going right now to get it back. You can come along and watch if you want.”
And then they’ll actually show up. Which can be nice because the thief is unlikely to try shit if the cops are there observing things.
