    The second part is not actually related to the first.

    If something is beyond your control all you can do is manage how you deal with it. There is no other option. As someone with anxiety, I’ve spent too much of my life on this.

    Living is learning and deciding what things you should give a fuck about, what battles to pick, and what to walk away from.

    When you’re worried about the uncertainty, say to yourself: “okay, let’s assume this happens, then what, how do I deal with it, what is the worst that can happen”. Often running through things honestly can help you decide how much you need to worry about them.

    But conversely, if you find yourself paralyzed with fear, then you need to learn to put yourself in the present. Not the past, not the future. Meditation can help with that. Sometimes I need to find a distraction for myself. Sometimes I need another person to support me through those moments.

    Remember, it’s never wrong to ask someone to support you, even if it’s hard.
