I have to say “yeah once a week too” when they raise the subject ,when in fact it is multiple times a day. Husband would also do 2 times a day if he kept to his “normal” cadence. I know “whatever works for me” is right, but I’d like to compare to other people my age that aren’t my friends.
I believe in studies it’s been about once a month for women and once a week for men as the average.

That sounds insane, but I guess the average is dragged out by prepubescent children and very old people.
It has to be more frequent for sexually active adults
It looks like the study they referenced polled people aged 14-69(nice), but they also slip those demographics into different age brackets to get a more accurate count.
You’re forgetting the large percentage of adults with children. That will also dampen sex frequency.
