What you say is true, but not the reason. Part of reddit’s business model is selling its data to AI companies. So they just don’t want to give it away for free
Correction, selling its users’ data.
Reddit doesn’t make content, it just hosts content that its users submit for free and charges other people to access it.
I mean, that’s a lot of companies that do this.
