Yep, I do that. I don’t subscribe, I bookmark.
You can even get RSS feeds for channels. I use Miniflux, and it’ll make a feed just from the channel URL, but I think there might technically be a “proper” URL for the feed that other clients might need instead.
Probably should look into that actually.
