Reading several of his books, he believes in the everyday capable man of doing things and has a libertarian bent to him. That’s from reading a lot of his work and finding similarities in it. I wouldn’t say he was fascist but at that time he was probably vogue for the politics at the time.
Happen the same thing with Starship Troopers.
The author that wrote the book is genuinely a fascist and was pissed at the tone of the movie.edit: I was way off on this the author died before the movie came out
Robert A. Heinlein died 9 years before the movie released. He was many things, but fascist he was not.
Yeah I was wrong.
yeah. but how did you get to the point of calling the author fascist. that has to come from somewhere
I remember that going around the internet 5 years ago or so.
Do you have sources for this? I’d be interested in reading about that
I have no idea where I came up with that I was wrong.

I think he just liked playing around with political ideas. His books don’t have much of an ideological through-line (is “women are hot” an ideology?).
Dude invented powered armor 4 years before Iron Man ever showed up, and it didn’t even make it into the movie. He should be pissed
he was robbed. also he died years before the movie came out lol i’m an idiot
