1. Never Contact the OOP

  • Never contact the OOP for any story that has been posted.
  • The person posting the update is rarely if ever going to be the OOP and will not know the answers to your questions.

2. Be Respectful/No Trolling or Spamming

  • No name calling or starting fights
  • No arguing with others
  • Don’t get baited into a back and forth with another user
  • Bigotry or racism of any kind will not be tolerated
  • No spamming or repetitively posting the same or similar comments/posts.

  • When posting, follow the posting guidelines. Failure to follow the posting guidelines will result in having your post removed.
  • No repeat posts from the last 4 months, please search to make sure what you’re posting has not been posted recently.
  • Make sure you’re giving credit where credit is required. Some sources do legally require credit like Ask A Manager and Captain Awkward (you can find that in the posting guidelines above).

5. No Self Promotion

  • No selling things
  • No trying to promote your own community or SubReddit
  • No trying to push an agenda on others or convert them to your way of thinking (whether it’s politics, religion or anything else).
  • No trying to take people off site to your own website.
  • Self promotion MIGHT be granted by talking to the mods but truly, there shouldn’t be any reason for it in this community.

You can report any rule breaking by reporting the offending post and a mod will review it as soon as possible.
