    it’s only a matter of time. the US has a high degree of societal militarization going back to right after the first world war. it’s been in hyperdrive since the 1950s, and especially so since the passing of the patriot act. the school to military pipeline has been really strong for a long time, but as of late has weakened. so the hitler youthification of our schools will come soon to indoctrinate the children into the importance of national struggle rather than class struggle

      As things get tougher in the workforce that’s all the kids are going to be able to do.

      The military rewards them with years of socialism. The powers that be know social services are necessary, but it’s paywalled.

        Oh don’t I know it! It’s one of the reasons it’s so important that Americans get involved in mutual aid projects. The military industrial complex relies on the desperation of poverty to ensure that there will be people willing to risk dying to get basic medical care fore the rest of their life as well as a lack of education to ensure that the people taking that risk don’t fully understand the ramifications of their actions while under the orders of their commanding officer
