Perhaps the Russians are tired of all of those EU countries sending all of those missiles and other weapons to aid Ukraine, and would rather all of those EU countries just send all those missiles and other weapons directly to Moscow instead.

To be fair, NATO did scramble Italian jets in Lithuania a few days ago, and it happens regularly in Poland in response to drones approaching from Ukrainian airspace. Luxembourg was closed overnight due to drones, Leipzig famously had the explosive laden drone incident and airports in eastern Poland regularly close due to russian drones in far western Ukraine.

Seriously though. This would be a serious test of NATO. While I hope all members hold strong, generally speaking governments on the world stage have been very… Lacking. And in my own completely uninformed beliefs I think that’s the only way Russia could ever hope of destroying NATO. Not by attacking and hoping for military success… But by repeatedly prodding it in hoping that the member states just look inward.
