Mine was really uncomfortable but not really bad. I was in the hospital, had to pee through a sieve (to find out if it passed) and knew where it currently was, as I could feel it. I also had gallstones and the colics due to these were A LOT worse. I didn’t know before, you can just vomit from pain. I had an operation to get rid of the problem.
I was with my (then) wife there when both kids were born. I’d still would not want to go through that.

Learned you could vomit from pain by simply having periods. :/ yay
I had gallstones and the pain was bad enough before the operation I was seriously considering taking my own gallbladder out with a kitchen knife.
