You should train yourself to use them automatically instead of a manual step. Like a reflex.

And if you’re at a light and you plan to turn, you have that blinker going. Even if it’s a long red light, even if you think no one is around.

I now know it due to this post. 100% will never remember it. Sounds like a very generic notification.

IMO, maybe a jerk, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I think more people need to hear news they don’t want to hear from someone they trust.

What I’ve told most teens looking at the future post high school is, have more then one career/life goal. When I was in middle school, I thought I wanted to be a professional chef. Only to discover I like cooking. I love cooking for friends/family… I loathed the toxic “professional” setting (especially thanks to Gordan Ramsey, who 20 years ago glamorized being a right jackass in the kitchen, pretending that was acceptable). Now I’ve worked in IT for nearly 2 decades and what I’ve done in my field has changed a lot.

I think lying to him and saying, “You can be anything, you can do anything, you’re amazing!!!” type of parenting is going to lead to problems if/when the plan doesn’t work out and they have no fallback. Personally, coddling your kid and lying to them just because it’s a short-term positive emotion (or you’re afraid of saying the truth), IMO is bad parenting. You’re not there to make sure they get the “right feels” or to be their best friend. You prepare them for the real world. Final note: you hear a lot of professional sports players say “I had a deal with my parents that if <sport> didn’t work out, I’d do <something else>.”

So, economical reasons couldn’t account for the slowdown. It’s 100% education and contraception…? Not the cost of living is so high and pay is so low that supporting another human is a risky venture. Or people are working so many hours to make ends meet.

I’m saying most living things, real or fiction, are more likely to be selfish than listen to literally anyone telling them not too. And we see this in the MCU repeatedly, both on earth and in aliens. When you emphasis freedom of will and choice, you cannot be surprised when it’s exorcised.

Yeah, that plan wouldn’t work. There are plenty of people today on earth, where we have endless access to education and contraception, who go out of their way to have like 12+ kids. They know what they’re doing and simply don’t care.

Someone telling people “Hey, be real cool if you like, had fewer kids” just isn’t going to accomplish anything.

I want to take a wild guess and say that the word was supposed to be jump.

You probably call them nasty people, probably say how he always knew, how you can’t trust them. Claim he would never act like that. Then probably put travel restrictions in place to prevent them from coming here and tariffs.

Now I understand all those videos of guys thinking it’s a covid test and getting mad. That looks almost identical to a covid tester I had.

You should see a doctor for better confirmation. My understanding has been, if you see positive on the test, see the doctor for actual confirmation since various things can throw the at home testers off.

Even if it is, at current rate, one day we’ll look back and go “remember when tipping was optional, and less than 100%, we were truly spoiled back then”
