Are there exclusions for Jury Duty in the US based on occupational fields such as:
Medical (Board certified doctors who work 9-5 consuming court hours)
Military (Active service member of the army, navy, marines or air force)
Sole Trader (Basically an entrepreneur who has full time committment)
Member of congress or a government official (like senators for instance)
Government employee (FBI agent, CIA operative, ATF official)
Active member of Law Enforcement (SWAT, Cops or Sheriffs)
Politicians (Those working for the white house in DC)
For any of those reasons: one should present proof of current employment within those sectors (for armed forces, such as CAC card or DoD idetification to guarantee exclusion or relevant credentials & ID’s telling them you’re in LE). And of course, Ex-Cons who are convicted of serious crimes are not eligible to serve as jurors.
