I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but is this being developed with majority of input from LLMs ?

Linkora. It’s a bookmarking app.
Thank you so much!

Other than Apertus, are there any truly open source models - mainly what I want to know is models that list their training data publicly to ensure no theft of art and stuff. (i replied to your comment as you seem to know about these models, I have no clue abou this stuff)
Nice to know that the app has a database feature. Most open source note taking apps ignore this feature. I have 2 requests -
There’s already another app called void notes
The URL in the repo ends with ‘com’ and is shown as available for sale

They also have LGPL mentioned in their readme. I’m so confused what happened. I was thinking of switching to this app, but after reading more about the app, feel like staying with Monekin

Thanks! I was thinking of contacting them, but after reading more about it, I’m not going to. I was thinking of switching to this app completely, but now feel conflicted

Thanks for the added context. I didn’t even notice that LGPL was mentioned in the readme. I was thinking of switching to this app, now idk, might as well stay with my current one.
Are you looking for a 1:1 alternative to pocket ?
I’ve heard good things about Readeck.
Linkace is similar but you’ll have to wait a bit for their official instance
I found this while browsing after Pocket announced shutdown, but haven’t used it. It’s pitched as a Pocket alternative, has support for Pocket import and similar features, but I don’t think there’s a dedicated Linux app.
I personally use Linkora but it is a bookmark manager, doesn’t have an in built reader. It has both appimage and deb packages and is available on other platforms as well.
Shiori is a Pocket clone but I haven’t used it
Almost all Pocket alternatives need self hosting. I was using Joplin web clipper and now I just use Linkora.
There’s also Linkwarden.
Chaski is mostly an RSS reader but it can find feeds for websites as said on it’s page and dowload articles.
TLDR - If you just want to save/bookmark articles, give Linkora a try. Or you could use the web clipper of Joplin.
Your app is really good, I use the android version. It has most features one expects. It loads really quickly compared to Joplin (ik Joplin has a lot of other features, plus I have a few plugins installed as well). I also really like the customization option - ability to create custom themes is awesome, I like creating custom themes if the apps provide the option.
And the numbered list issue is present in almost all apps I tried, one dev told me its due to the editor they use. The only reason I stick with Joplin & markor is because they’re the only markdown based apps I found where numbered lists work.
Thanks for making print notes!! And most importantly, don’t burn yourself out, take rest. I’m not a developer, I’ll assist with testing though
I forgot to mention your app, I use it on my phone. Pretty fast app.
I was planning to add an issue - when the numbered list reaches 3 digits, it overflows to the next line. This was the reason I went back to Joplin. But I have high hopes for your app :)
Beaver Notes. The android version is in early dev called Beaver pocket. Do note, it does not have folder/notebook feature afaik
SiYuan. You can notes as Markdown files but their sync requires payment (I don’t know much about Siyuan’s pricing). I don’t use this as it has “AI”, it can be disabled but I didn’t need it in the first place.
Joplin and Beaver Notes (soon) support syncing with syncthing and other similar options (Joplin also has it’s own paid cloud sync afaik)
The rest are available on Linux, but if you export the notes, you can use Markor on Android

There isn’t a 1:1 FOSS replacement for Notion. I’ve been also looking for one and haven’t found any.
As others have said, Appflowy and Affine are the best options that don’t require self hosting. Appflowy now has a web version too. There’s also SiYuan.
If you’re fine with self hosting there might be a few options mainly for database like functions, some provide a free trial/tier :
Thanks for being open about it. I’ve been looking for syncthing alternatives, this seems closest to it. Will there be a an android version ?
