I went in to cancel my membership a few months ago, and they said that it can be done online now. Which is good to know, if I ever decide to get a gym membership at PF again and then choose to cancel it.

That is amazing. The x-ray of it is kind of scary, honestly. That little chip could be all it would take to get into an air-gapped machine.

The other night, I was eating lunch at my desk, in our small open office. The IT guy and one of the robot techs were debating whether the summary execution of Alex Pretti was justified. IT guy believes the government’s version of events, suggesting that Alex brandished his firearm (which is patently false). They openly support the state’s murder, and further, encourage it. It might be a bit difficult to get them to go along with a massacre, but they’ve already been walked through 2 murders, and are primed for more.

Would something like this ever happen? Hope not. But if it does, god help us all.

I’ve checked out from trying to advocate for the truth. You cannot reason with someone who is arguing in bad faith. The blatant disregard for the live’s lost, instead focusing on proving a point to justify the theft of those live’s. It’s gross. How anyone can look at the system that has been fully exposed in front of them and say More of that! blows my mind. But those are the people that will backup Trump if such a thing happened.

I would vote for whichever candidate that has firm, unflinching, support for Trans, NB and GNC people. Someone who will rescind every EO (with special focus on anti-LGBT orders), return our dignity and sense of belonging, and vow to veto any and all anti-LGBTQ+ pieces of legislation.

This is of course in addition to abolishing ICE.

In another life, I worked at a hospital. The wound nurse told me about the time there was a meeting of nurses, which had a few refreshments, such as lemonade…with some golytely mixed in.

When I worked at a print shop, we had to calibrate the copiers every morning. It involved printing out a scale of colors and using a device that determined whether a color was correct. Before the device, we did it manually, for the blacks. For the colors, the copiers printed several sheets that we then put through the copiers scanner, which calibrated. There were deviations rarely.

If god were real, and created the universe, I’d think that its existence would be described as something that just is. There is no start or end, no body to observe, nothing to communicate with. In the way that this supreme power would exist, there is no way for us to quantify it.
