21 days agoProducing software is not free. Serious projects need to be able to commercialize, it can’t always be for passion and vibes. But it can be done tastefully, there is a difference between shilling slop and monetizing a serious project.
11y account, 108k karma. Repetitively banned by their ai moderation. The latest, like many, overturned by a human, the content restored, and it immediately received a community award. But their ban automation fanned out and banned all my accounts. Because I was banned. Which was overturned. I’m banned for being banned by an ai, despite that ai being overruled. They will not respond to my appeal.
So anyways now I’m getting oriented on lemmy and will contribute here. Reddit can suck it. Their only value was human contribution from the community and they’re working hard to snuff that out.
