Also less hardware compatibility on BSD.

And I’ve just recently started using catchyos which has btrfs running out of the box and it works quite well so far, and that was one if things I missed about BSD was zfs.

That’s why I’m running both. I use jellyfin, everyone else uses Plex 🤣

Presently “continue watching” is gone for me in android. I can’t seem to avoid all these stupid “recommendations”, and lately I find I’ve been using jellyfin more and more. I have run them in tandem for years.

Doesn’t cost me anything. I’ve never paid for a VPN. You don’t really need it unless you’re in a country that firewalls you.

Definitely. Those folks for me are definitely using regular Plex to access my server.

Instead of plexpass you could do always on VPN with wire guard.

It still is self hosting, if you don’t count media scraping as cheating.

You don’t need plexpass. In fact, I really should start installing the free version again because I use an always on vpn now instead of relying on their proxies. But at that point I’d just use jellyfin instead.

I guess its just us in here then, among these AI bots.

Quite a bit more work than expected lol. It tells you where the libraries and dictionaries are not not how to load them. I figured it out in the end but can’t seem to find out how to load the emoji list. Sometimes they show up in suggestions

Does anyone else remember windows ME… Out windows 11? All I could think about reading your OS reinstall comments lol.

I used to have to reinstall ME every few months. And 11 had been so shit for me. Just had to reinstall it on a computer due to several issues with patching and rebooting. No amount of dism and sfc was resolving those issues. Like 1 hour of black screen with a cursor after logging in types of issues. So far a reinstall has fixed it. Numerous docking glitches (different machine). Graphics glitches missing icons, explorer freezes and restarts. I’ve seen so many, and they’re not sure to abusing the OS. Just day to day. Microsoft themselves even claimed they will focus on fixing windows 11.

I’m not trying to justify your issues with pop, bury just wanted to highlight windows stuffers too and this is Microsoft.

My Mac I had never faced issues though.
