Thank you for enlightening me. 🫘

What’s the story with the bean posting? I’m new to the Lemmiverse.

Iirc this was the one that showed the sexism of the MPAA too, like how a fully visible penis gets rated R (I think American Psycho was the example), but in another film where some of the top of a woman’s pubic hair was showing in a scene, they were going to rate it NC-17 unless they removed it.

This was a really good explanation, thank you!

From what I’d read about it, search engines have become kinda shit, focusing on SEO and paid sponsored results than actually showing what someone searched for, so some small websites form webrings to help people find similar websites/interests while they’re on their site. I think it’s pretty cute/fun.

ciao bella

Glorious.

I’m doing my part! 🥳

“reportedly plan to ask” sounds like it’ll be about as impactful as a strongly worded letter from the UN.

The cocaine probably helped with the “vibrancy.”

Hello, fellow new Lemmy user! 🐣

Switching from Reddit to Lemmy has been quite a breeze. I still check Reddit occasionally but it honestly doesn’t feel like I’m missing out too much if I don’t, it’s so nice. I’m at the point where my Boost usage is beating my RedReader usage.
