For a second I thought “Good god, hopefully nobody touches that hot piece of shit” but it’s the game engine not the game backend.

Think of it this way: Think of a woman wearing a suit and having a short haircut. Next think of a man wearing a dress and having long hair. Which one is more likely to draw attention in public?

Again, personally: As I have one confirmed genetically transmitted condition and one suspected genetically transmitted condition this is a dilemma close to my heart and TBF I haven’t reached a final conclusion for myself yet. On one hand I think it is unethical to conceive a child knowing full well, that they have a considerable higher risk of disease, and yet I don’t think GATTACA was meant as an instruction manual. As so often in life the answer is somewhere in the middle.

Personally? IDGF about what two consenting adults do in bed. My only objection is when it comes to children being born from incest because of the higher risk of genetic diseases.
between adopted siblings who aren’t related genetically?
Don’t know where you from but AFAIK that’s perfectly legal in Germany.

It’s the same reason that we have laws against incest.
I’d argue it’s also the fact that because of the low genetic diversity of the parents children born from incest have a higher chance of developing genetical diseases.
The chance is lower than most people presume but at the same time: why gamble?

I interpret it as “We do not install bloatware such as Facebook etc. by default”.

Going by your name I assume English is not your first language.
[A bigot is someone] who will not listen to or accept the opinions of anyone who disagrees
To have a debate both parties have to listen to each other. They exchange arguments in favor of their point of view and in the best case one side convinces the other of their own point of view. That is not possible with someone unwilling to listen to or accept opinions of other people.

That’s exactly my point and the reason I think your reliance on a “universally agreed legal definition” is useless.

As per the Oxford learners dictionary a bigot is per definition someone unwilling to debate.

If you require a universally agreed upon legal definition of what is right or wrong you might do well reading some books on philosophy. Or pickup a random religious text and live by it if that’s what you prefer.

The one right behind “Greed is good”.

Never let morals get in the way of opportunity.
Hitler and fascism in general had many supporters in the US.

“Family reasons”?
Police? Yeah, this guy.

Yes, there has been human to human transmission, however as I wrote it rarely happens. Of course, close contact like in a cruise ship full of people is going to increase the risk.

Did she get on a commercial plane by herself or was this a planned airlift to a hospital, though?

No need to panic. The virus is rarely transmitted from human to human or via air.
Cruise ships are a hot bed for diseases though: Many people in a confined space going to places with diseases that their body has no resistance against. So your best protection is simply not going near the ship.
On the topic of staff escaping: Given that the ship hasn’t been able to dock so far I highly doubt that’s true.
Especially as an (ex-) coder you should ask for a paper ballot!
As for whether or not that’s possible: Which location are we talking about?
