  • Confused we all are daannii, but through your confusion we have found ourselves in dialogue and that I am grateful for!

Congratulations on the Pretty hard Degree - what’s your thesis on?

With regards to imagery, story, and symbolism - that’s the discussion I am hoping to open! Your analysis of the cards, specifically their suits, is a great place to start, no? Pentacles: materialism. Do we see the sciences as materialist? Maybe some, but not all, who knows!

Wands - perhaps the arts? Or maybe only the visual arts - painting, photography, sculpture. Maybe dramatics lays somewhere else - I haven’t a clue, maybe you do?

I will research more of course and thank you for your recommendations, however nothing beats a cup of tea and some natter with anons online

  • Forgot to reply last night my good Mothra, thank you for your help.
I much appreciate your advice to traverse these new lands.

Yet still, your occult knowledge continued the discussion!

Swords vs Pentacles - swords are associated with intellect and challenges of the mind and soul, but pentacles are associated with the material so I feel there’s room for them both to be “the sciences”. Maybe some sciences fall in the Swords bracket, and others fall in the Pentacles brace! Who knows!

Glad to have crossed paths, regardless
