2·28 days agoSleep mask for sure. And not a cheap ass flemsy satin-like ones you get with the dom/sub pack at your nearest adult store!
I recommend the Manta Sleep ones. Used the smaller one for 4 years before the Velcro finally gave in. Immediately bought the regular ones and kept using the eye cups from my old ones. It was a godsend working third shift.
Haven’t tried the heated or cooled cups so ymmv.
Lies! It uses electricity!
I’ve heard MusicAssistant can now do radio stations and using (local) AI to generate a DJ that will announce the song and some other neat tricks. I haven’t used it in a while. Check out SmartHomeSolver (Reed) on YT, he had a video on it.
A digital or physical copy of a receipt. But then how would they know the receipt is theirs? Well, they don’t. There are a subset of users who have bit for but copies. I think if they came into some legal trouble having that vs a rip would be better since the data is in tact the same way it was when purchased. Can I easily be called a backup.
I’m not your lawyer and I’m definitely not a lawyer anyway. Just playing Devis Advocate.
If so this is clever. In the wild event they get into some sort of trouble with copying, they have a bit-for-bit copy proving they own/owned the BluRay instead of a ripped copy.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is there a site where I can upload about 600gb to 1tb worth of files for free or on the cheap side and reliant? As a backup incase hardware problems?English
2·1 month agoI think I pay ~$12-$13USD for 3TB of storage with BB2. It’s been great. Nightly incremental backups with TrueNAS. Haven’t had the need yet to pull down the data (which I should, you should test your backups with a restore on occasion), but I have peace of mind knowing it’s there and encrypted.

1·2 months agoI, too, run an always on VPN from my mobile devices. I can still access my home network with pihole and DNS entries to my services. It’s not that difficult. I agree though, mTLS is a good option.
Yes. GMT is UTC (meaning GMT is +0 and synchronized with UTC), therefore if you have to work out what time it is in other time zones, you use UTC. Your application shows the time in your time zone (unless otherwise specified). Responses will also be shown in your time zone.

131·2 months agoCan’t review code if you don’t know how to. Are we meant to throw the source into AI and go, “hey is this safe”? While it may work, the time and effort sometimes isn’t. It’s literally being stuck between a rock and a hard place, so-to-speak. And before anyone says, “well, you should learn code”, I hear you. All due respect to those that can, I’m not taking the time because I don’t have time. I’m surviving from high gas prices, high grocery prices, higher bills (with for-profit companies reporting their best ever profits YOY), and keeping afloat. “Ain’t nobody got time fo dat.”

Like others, my phone number was targeted and spoofed. I got 7-10 callbacks that day. Hasn’t happened since.
