It doesn’t take that much work, and it helps keep the place clean.
I’m mostly active on my @m_f@discuss.online account, but if you want to make this account a mod, I can use it to clean up any spam that I come across. I haven’t good experiences with federated moderating so probably not a good idea to make that user a mod here. I think Lemmy has fixed that up at least somewhat, but no idea how well it works with PieFed.
Thank you for offering! I tried to add you as a mod, but I couldn’t find you for some reason. Maybe is your username too short?
@rimu@piefed.social
Edit: I just made your discuss.online a mod in the meantime
I can help if you like. Can make a piefed account if necessary. Would be neat if it were possible to mod using a different instance’s account.
We can try with your Fedia.io account, but really not sure how that will turn out ha ha
Edit: I just added you!
I see mod tools. I just posted a test thread and comment in same, was able to delete those with mod tools. While those mod delete actions did work, I don’t see those actions in the mod log (yet).
Good to know!
I saw! Experiments!
I think on !communitypromo@lemmy.ca (?) you can recruit for mods if necessary.
I could be one, even though I mostly observe how people here think.
Well, how do we think?
I cannot speak for all (everyone has differences that should be respected), but, overall, people in here are balanced, chill and empathic, although that is the theme of this community, anyway.
That’s good to hear.
I could try being a mod, sounds fun
You are now a mod!
Thanks!
