A specific atmosphere, unlikely coincidence, this kind of stuff

The stone quarry at the bottom of the hill was doing blasting but didn’t notify anyone.

If we knew we wouldn’t have gone that day.

Yeah, it happened like every 10 minutes in Iceland. Some favourite moments like that include walking through a moss field with a very gentle rain falling. Pulling up to crystal beach at 1AM and the sun is still up, and there’s a creepy camper van with a clown painted on it. Driving somewhere near the southern coast and the landscape turned to all black volcanic rock, overcast skies, no colours anywhere except for the yellow lines on the road.

Car, cycling wrecks I can recall as happening in slow motion. Over and over again in my sleep. Very cinematic.

1994 or 95 I went to Italy. Was living in Florida at the time. Ended up spending Christmas Eve dinner in Rome with a bunch of students from one of the Florida universities. Odd coincidence. Phenomenal meal.

  • Ha, just yesterday, my GF & BFF were on a beer road trip. One of our stops was a Meadery. Very fun atmosphere. And, we did make our own 'lil video, using the Meadery’s provided Viking paraphernalia. Skål! 🥂

Yes and I think a few times but I just recall feelings like this is surreal or could be in a movie in the past but not the exact situation. I usually do not think about them much after it happens. Just a brief that was weird thing. Actually maybe one that I remember because my friend said something. We were coming out a building with concrete stairs and I slipped. Now I had taken judo in the past and managed to do a forward rolling fall and was on my feet at the bottom of the steps. My friend was laughing and I was upset at that and he was like. I thought you did it on purpose. On second thought not sure if it fits the movie thing but uh. anyway odd occurrence.

That time (around 2023) when I finally visit a beach in Bali, I once though that I’m in some kind tropical movies (maybe something like Crazy Rich Asian or The Meg) since the water is so clean, blue, and waving around white sands that came from a high limestone cliff. It’s actually my first time to feel actual beach, because in my hometown . . . most of the beach available mostly a muddy, dirty beach (either full of garbage or tourist leftovers; the opposite of actual good beach)
