The funny thing is that I was looking into assembly compilers on wikipedia, which led to external reading about rmac, which then led to MiNT, which finally led to the Atari Falcon
I’m mostly just being snarky. Companies rarely miss an opportunity for a lawsuit.
My guess is that there was nobody at Atari that even knew about either product.
Or Atari had crashed so hard by 1999-2000 that they couldn’t even pay for a telephone call to a lawyer
