It simply means he was Christian and he was spreading the Gospel. His most important words were always about his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Look through his social media posts and listen to his interviews. They are filled with plain explanations of the Gospel.
Was he also living the word of God or just talking it? The difference is important on my opinion.
