Did something similar… turned the electric stove on high, waited until coil was glowing red and then touched it with my finger. I still remember how excited I was waiting for it to glow! 😄
That finger has no normal fingerprint now - the ridges and swirls are gone. Kids are dumb.
When i was a child, one of my friends lived in this old farmhouse. They had a hatch that went down 2 floors. We watched a lot of batman and robin and obviously repelling down a building was super cool. We tied a super thin piece of yarn around whatever and i was so lucky to be the first one to try it out.
Part 2: Me as a child putting my bare hand on a hot iron. My entire hand was bandaged up.

My brother did the same thing with the cigarette lighter in our car when we were little. I don’t think that one ever grew a full fingerprint back 😅😅
