Because arab countries are looked down on for various reasons, but the general social conservative attitudes towards women are shared with korea and arab countries from a social perspective, and not a political perspective.
Like, they didn’t ban women from driving, but they still have ideas like “Christmas cake” (women are unwanted after they reach 25, since no one wants xmas cake after the 25th of dec [NB : I do not agree with this idea])
You are suggesting that a social attitude that women should be married by 25 is equivalent to a country banning women from autonomy?
