This is the sort of thing that causes people to become violently opposed to the government as adults. If you’re a kid and you’re attacked or you see your family attacked or killed, then that’s going to affect you for your entire life.

Elián González is now a Cuban politician, who openly hates America.

      Honestly, I can’t blame him.

Why does this read as if we shouldn’t be violently opposed at the monopolist in violence, as adults?
How many indigenous genocides do you need to comprehend your government is violently oppressing you, and everyone abroad?

Was this a wrong time wrong place situation for the kid, or should we also be angry at the adult who took their kid there?

Edit: why are you booing me, I’m right

Should be angry at the fascist paramilitary invaders that make American cities unsafe for children.

It sounds like you are either tying to blame the child or the parents who took their child to a peaceful union orgaized protest, instead of the criminals that are using chemical weapons on children and peaceful protesters.

That is why you are getting downvoted.

Not at all. However, i do expect their adult who was likely involved to be aware enough of their surroundings to avoid a spot that was not appropriate for the child. Otherwise, it looks like the adult is using the child as a shield.

We should be angry at the adults who attacked. ICE escalates and uses chemical weapons on children. This isn’t even the first confirmed time.

No, your statement is fucking stupid. You’re blaming the parent/child for the police’s overreaction and use of chemical weapons against peaceful demonstrators.

Before your dipshit word vomit has anything even remotely approaching a point, explain how the brown shirts aren’t 100% responsible for the overreaction and chemical weapon use on peaceful civilians?

No matter how you say you feel towards ICE, you’re showing your hand that you think the kid/parent are more to blame than the terrorist welding chemical weapons, since that’s your focus.

You’re right. Children should be kept away from such things. It’s not for them to be forced to worry about.
