You can delete images you accidentally uploaded or don’t need anymore. This can be good if you want to try and wipe them from the internet, or you want to lighten storage costs for your instance.

(RE: storage costs: it is probably easier to throw a couple extra bucks at your admins (if possible), and that should more than cover the costs for a good number of images.)
Storage is veeery cheap, so yeah a few € will do.
This is also possible using Thunder, I believe.
