      If I had to guess. Motors get hot, gearbox gets hot, battery gets hot. Liquid coolant works better than air cooling alone.

      Cooling off hot components is one part of it. Keeping the battery warm in cold weather is another.

      There’s a heat pump that keeps the batteries at the optimal temperature and also heats / cools the cabin.
