Everyone collectively agrees we must punish everyday people for everyday crimes but never ever can we even consider punishment for the richest and most powerful commiting the most heinous crimes at national or even global scale…no that would be too “cruel”, so we must allow them to fester and destroy every bit of progress our species ever makes no matter how many millions of us had to die for that centimeter of progress.

They’re never ever ever going to face the reality of people Washington, Jefferson, etc. Those monuments to racism, genocide, etc. will be defended to the death.
