    It’s a bunch of SSPX ultraconservative Bishops trying to split the church because they dont believe in the liberal reforms of the 1960s.

    Maybe this will lead the rest of the Catholic Church further left, more progressive, tho.

      If by “further left” you mean “slightly less on the side of extreme fascism and discrimination” then sure, why not, won’t make a difference. Otherwise, no.

        Yes that’s how it works, their placement in the spectrum could be left of whete they currently sit, which is already leftwards of the SSPX faction.

        It’s always relative.
