Why is it a bad thing for a host of SNL to bring in their own or other writers to help write jokes and stuff? Wouldn't it take some of the pressure off the SNL writers? If they all agree on things?

The guest usually has a lot of discretion over the monologue if they want it, but the sketches are written by SNL writers.

If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.

If you intentionally annoy, mock, harass, or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.
