I really don’t see any difference. I was born in 1983 but what I know Reagan was a douche and a half.

I lived through Reagan and it turned a lot of things in directions wrong for the citizens but it was nowhere near this. There was still “shame” preventing anything blatant, there was still at least a nod toward helping people, there was still some competence, there was still some function in Congress.

You could even argue that Reagan did “make America great” by commanding respect in the world and getting at least something’s done.

Trump is an 8 year old in a tantrums version of Reagan

What’s fun about this is before 2025 you could trace any national problem back to Reagan and how he made it worse. Now in 2028 you can do that for trump. I hate that I have no expectation that anyone could win that would be willing to undo all of that damage.

I think it’s worse. Reagan was addled but could be “handled “ by career political staffers and his appointees weren’t Hesgeth/RFJ level awful and incompetent

You could go back further and look at it like the building of the railroads all over again. Just as brutal instances in all over again too

You don’t have to be good to be an actor, the quotes is pointless and stupid. If you’re an actor in a movie you’re an actor.
