The offical Reddit app? I have no idea what that looks like. There used to be all sorts of great Reddit apps but then Reddit decided to shut them all down. On the upside many of us came over to Lemmy at that time.
Summit is the best app I’ve tried by far, great dev too. Though you are spoiled for choice when it comes to apps, there are probably a couple dozen of them by now.
Are you aware of a way to keep it from graying out post you’ve already seen? I mean, it’s cool if it does that with the link headline but I don’t like that it does that with the image of the post, and I don’t know how to change it.

RIP redditisfun. Reddit was fun.
I found one that looks cool
https://f-droid.org/packages/com.idunnololz.summit.fdroid
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idunnololz.summit
I still am open to more suggestions.
Also I prefer if communities from my instance also show with @lemmy.world
Because I sometimes forget which instance I made an account on.
Also, as a new users I was confused why some communities showed with a name while others had a domain name appended

Nevermind, I found it! It’s under settings, Posts feed, Post appearance, Read Post style
edit: typos
To always display instance names, go to Settings > Misc > display instance names. Change it to always.
