    I could picture an organization bankrolling a candidate in exchange for political favours when they win.

    But yeah, usually the bribery comes after the election

      We just call that a donation. And it goes through a PAC and it’s legal. The supreme Court has removed all the guard rails so unlimited donations and direct coordination with a PAC is now possible.

        Yeah, the situation’s not great

        Bribery is also already legal through lobbying. That doesn’t make it right, but what are you and I going to do about it?
