I still love my Pixel 6 and I am thinking of grabbing a used Pixel 8 to run GrapheneOS.
I am not one to chase the latest benchmarks. Any phone made in the past five years or so is perfectly capable once you take the bloat out.

Graphene camera is ass. There is an fdroid app for the pixel camera with google shit removed.
That’s because there’s a lot of proprietary Google software that makes the photos look good which is not present in graphene.
It’s like on Sony Xperia phones when you unlock the bootloader. All the confidential software that makes photos look good is locked away and encrypted until you relock it again
Absolutely. Surprised there is not a foss image processing pipeline already. They hit such niche spaces and this is such a barrier for mass adoption.
Tbh payment is sorted with curve. An image processing pipeline and some form of android auto implementation without google would make it a full replacement.
link or name?
I cannot find it, I had it favourited but it was local and I have since wiped gOS
fossify and librecamera are nice too
I use fossify for a lot but the camera was bad I thought.
